The first Nintendo download update of the year brings quite a few interesting titles, both for the Nintendo Wii, through WiiWare, and for the Nintendo DSi, through the DSiWare service.

First off, Nintendo Wii owners can enjoy three new titles, Sneezies, Ghost Mania and Robox.

The first is published by Chilingo and tasks you with dropping sneezing powder, with the help of the Wii Remote, onto a field of floating "sneezies" and help them escape from the level.

You have 45 levels in the Classic mode, and 15 Challenge modes, all for 500 Wii Points.

Next up, there's Ghost Mania, a puzzle title in the vein of Tetris, where you need to guide the falling bricks in order to form groups and erase them from the level.

You will get multiple modes of play, including puzzle or arcade, not to mention the possibility of playing against a friend, for 500 Wii Points.

Robox is another puzzle title where you need to guide a small little robot through a complicated world filled with hazards, traps and enemies.

A demo version is available for free, while the full one costs 1,000 Wii Points.

Nintendo DSi owners are treated with three new titles this week: Alt-Play: Jason Rohrer Anthology, Word Searcher 2 and Music on: Drums.

The first is a compilation from indie games developer Jason Rohrer and consists of titles like Passage, Gravitation and Between.

These three games can be yours for just 200 DSi Points.

Word Searcher 2, as its name suggests, is a pretty simple word searching title, that offers 100 themed puzzles where you need to find a lot of words hidden in all directions.

You too can enrich your vocabulary and quicken your reflexes, with this game, for 500 Wii Points.

Last but not least, Music on: Drums is a music creation title, which has over 160 sounds that you can compile and create tracks with different patterns and effects.

You'll be one step closer to becoming a DJ for 500 DSi Points.
