Video game publisher and hardware creator Nintendo has announced that it is working on two new titles, linked to the Pokemon franchise. They are set to arrive on the 3DS handheld during the fall, Pokemon Dream Radar and Pokedex 3D pro, both specifically designed to accompany the launch of Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2.

Dream Radar is designed to allow gamers to catch more Pokemon creatures by using a number of features of the 3DS, including the Augmented Reality tech, the motion control and the camera.

The creatures will be hidden and Dream Radar, which will be launched via the eShop, will allow players to fire beams of light to capture them and the entire roster will be then available to transfer to Pokemon Black & White Version 2.

Pokedex 3D Pro will also launch only through digital means and will offer information about the 600 Pokemon that are included in the franchise and about the history of the releases in the series.

The Pokedex represents the simplest way of getting up to speed with the stories told in the Pokemon games and to check out obscure information when a player encounters it in a game.

The app will also include a number of tools to sort and rank Pokemon, allowing players to plan how they will approach Pokemon Black & White Version 2 when it is launched.

Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 are the first true sequels in the franchise and will be launched during the autumn on the 3DS, taking players back to the Unova region and offering a new narrative that takes place two years after the story seen in the first Black and White games.

A new evil is threatening Unova and its inhabitants and it will be up to the player and his team of Pokemons to stop it, using new legendary creatures like the Black and the White versions of Kyurem.
