Nike-free-run.us is a site that sells Nike footwear since 2008, offering to ship the purchased goods anywhere in the world.
The hackers managed to access the site’s database and they leaked the email addresses and passwords of more than 100 of their customers.
Fortunately, the passwords are not in clear text, but the email addresses are enough to launch a cleverly conceived phishing or malware serving attack.
Internet users who made purchases from Nike-free-run are advised to be on the lookout for any suspicious emails that might hit their inboxes. Also, it's recommended that they change their passwords, since who knows what other information the hackers may have obtained.
