A4-Tech PK-333MB features 6 infraded LEDs and "turns your night into day"

You can always turn on the light or use a flashlight to check if the monster from the closet is hiding somewhere near your desk, but there's no fun there, eh? A web cam with 6 infraded LEDs can make your ? night ?instead. Probably not.

Here's the main argument the maker of the webcam is trying to send to its prospects: this camera is perfect for late night chat sessions because it doesn't disturb sleeping room mates. Oh, ok. The snappily named A4-Tech PK-333MB webcam can also switch to "day action" which is a smart move considering that humans aren't actually daysleepers. The webcam comes with the already old clip-on design that allows you to "quickly and easily" (why hurry?) attach it to the top of your LCD/TFT monitor or notebook.

The "ingredients" include automatic white balance, digital zoom function, 6 infraded LEDs, snapshot button, 1. 3 Megapixel (interpolated), instant still capture and motion tracking. It also boasts a built-in microphone that offers clear sound and echo-free audio. Here's the best part. It's motion-sensitive, meaning your camera can be programmed to record action whenever someone moves in its view. That's nice. You'll finally get to find out who is responsible for making those strange sounds when you're so busy counting the sheep.

The webcam can probably suit the ladies, who want to tease the video-chat horny subscribers. $5 for a night "windows peak" and $10 for the light at the end of the tunnel. On second though, guys are mainly aroused by visual stimuli, so that's probably not a good idea.

It's yours for 25 UK pounds.
