He couldn’t even walk, had to be wheeled in on luggage cart

More details on Nick Gordon’s seemingly ill-advised interview with Dr. Phil, for an episode that will air this week, have emerged online. Apparently, the interview was actually an excuse for an intervention, and he showed up completely wasted on drugs and alcohol.

Moreover, he became violent when he realized what was happening, attacking 2 of Dr. Phil’s staffers as he was storming out, sources familiar with the situation reveal for TMZ.

Nick Gordon is a mess, needed this

Embedded below is the first preview of the interview, which also included Nick’s mother. Dr. Phil tells her that her son is in a very bad shape and that, unless they manage to get him to understand he needs rehab, he will be dead within a week.

Nick is also featured briefly in the video, crying over losing Whitney Houston and now Bobbi Kristina, and then flaring up as Dr. Phil confronts him about drinking heavily before meeting them. He is slurring his words.

TMZ reports that he did more than just slur words: he was practically so wasted on drugs and alcohol that he could barely walk on his own and had to be wheeled in on a luggage cart. Then, when he found out that what he thought would be an interview was actually an intervention to get him to rehab, he completely lost it and stormed out, not listening to reason.

On his way out, he attacked 2 staffers who tried to retain him in the room long enough for Dr. Phil and his mother to talk some sense into him.

Eventually, Gordon agreed to go to rehab and is now part of a 3-month program. This episode, when it airs this week, should offer an indication of just how bad he’d gotten after Bobbi Kristina’s accident on January 31.

A violent drug addict, “not a good man”

This taping has already earned Dr. Phil a public reprimand from Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Leolah Brown, for offering Nick a platform to defend himself and earn sympathy from the public. In reality, Gordon is the object of a criminal investigation, being the primary suspect in the attempted murder on Bobbi Kristina.

Meanwhile, a friend who lived with Nick and Bobbi Kristina, Steven Stepho, says in a new interview cited by Radar Online that Gordon was a very violent drug addict who would have done anything in his power to keep Bobbi Kristina under strict control, because she was the only way he could get access to Whitney Houston’s money.

Nick and Bobbi Kristina were raised by the late diva as brother and sister, after she brought him in when he was still a child. However, all the money was left to Bobbi Kristina in the will, so the only way he could get any is if he kept her on a tight leash.

He would often use drugs to do that, or he would rough her up and then blame it on her, as if she’d provoked him, the former roommate says. Nick Gordon never loved Bobbi Kristina, but he was determined to do whatever he could to make her believe that.

She, on the other hand, loved him unconditionally and would often cry herself to sleep when he cheated on her, or beat her up or left her alone for days in a row.

It would not be uncommon for them to blow $1,000 (€920) a day on drugs, with Nick making sure she was passed out cold for most of the time.
