Nick Gordon is the primary suspect in the ongoing investigation that will determine what happened in the Georgia house he and girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown shared, on January 31, the day she was found unresponsive, face-down in the bathtub.

Word online has it that he’s refusing to cooperate with the police and that he’s yet to give them a detailed account of that day. He did, however, speak with Dr. Phil, with the episode scheduled to air on March 11.

This will be Gordon’s first interview since Bobbi Kristina’s accident. She’s been in a medically induced coma since.

Gordon speaks of “mental anguish,” panic attacks

According to a press release sent by CBS to People Magazine, in the pre-taped interview, which also included Gordon’s mother Michelle, Nick will open up in detail about the hell he’s been through since Bobbi Kristina (Krissi) was found in the tub.

Krissi’s father, Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston’s ex-husband, has been refusing to let him see his “baby” unless he meets a set of conditions not made public to the press. In response, Gordon’s attorneys said that these conditions were impossible to meet, especially in a context in which Brown couldn’t “guarantee” access to Krissi’s room.

The bottom line is that it seems that Krissi’s family also holds Nick responsible for what happened to her, which is why they’re refusing to let him see her.

In the meantime, he’s been in pain, which he describes as “severe.” His mother tells Dr. Phil that his “life hangs in the balance” because of his drug and alcohol addiction.

As per the same release, the episode will show Dr. Phil “offering Gordon the treatment he appears to so desperately need as he battles drug and alcohol addiction.”

The taping occurred shortly after Gordon tweeted that he was having suicidal thoughts as Krissi’s 22nd birthday was approaching. It’s not known yet if he will offer a satisfactory answer about the events on the day Krissi drowned.

Gordon checks into rehab, Bobbi Kristina remains in a coma

Shortly after this press release went out, Nick Gordon did good on his promise to Dr. Phil and checked into rehab, TMZ reports.

Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina remains in a coma, with no signs of improvement. The most dire reports coming out right after her hospitalization said that she showed minimal brain activity and that doctors had already informed the family they’d done everything in their power to save her. Her survival was out of their hands.

Bobbi Kristina is literally fighting for her life, and her father is determined to keep her in the coma and on life support until she comes back to him, confident that the prayers she’s been receiving will help.

So, it strikes as completely hypocritical and shameless of Gordon to try and sway the public in his favor by doing televised interviews and tweeting non-stop about how much he misses his “baby.” One imagines he would want to be out of spotlight right now, especially since he’s still a suspect in her drowning.
