Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult met and fell in love while shooting for “X-Men: The First Class” and, though they were broken up for a few months because of their crazy working schedules, they seem to have found a way to make their relationship work.

The latest issue of V Man magazine brings a new interview (and a gorgeous pictorial, as the photo above can confirm) with the handsome actor who, in between talking about the second “X-Men” installment, which comes out in May, also gushes about Jennifer and how fame hasn’t changed her at all.

Then again, Jennifer is an atypical celebrity in all respects, starting from the way she does interviews and down to the way she handles her faux-pas on the red carpet, so it’s probably no surprise that she’s “special” on this account as well.

Nicholas swears she’s the same girl he fell in love with before her Oscar win and nominations, before she became Hollywood’s favorite girl. The only thing that’s changed since then is the fact that they get less privacy now because, obviously, the paparazzi always follow Jennifer around.

“It's like that thing whereby you don't believe your own hype. Enjoy the good times, but don't get swept away with it. And I think that's something she's capable of doing, and that's what makes her special, but yeah, it is very odd, and I am just kind of a bystander in many ways. It is well-deserved for her. I haven't really seen any change in her,” Nicholas says.

So, while fame hasn’t changed Jennifer in any significant way, the biggest challenge to their romance remains that of making it work when they deal with so busy schedules, which usually means they spend a lot of time apart.

Nicholas is happy that they were called back for the “X-Men” sequel, “Days of Future Past,” in which he plays Beast and she’s Mystique, because, this way, they got to enjoy each other’s company for a longer stretch.

“It's fun because in this business you are away from one another for long periods of time, so when you're on set together it's a brilliant thing, because you actually get to spend time together. Especially with this film, I got to spend time with her,” Hoult explains.

Directed by Bryan Singer, the film comes out in a couple of months so, as the promo tour for it kicks up in high gear, Nicholas and Jennifer will probably be spending even more time together because they’re contractually bound to make appearances on TV and red carpets.
