The Verizon Nexus 7 appears to be ready for launch, as we can see in a bunch of new photographs showcasing the bundle.

This weekend we saw rumors emerge saying that the Nexus 7 (2013) with LTE in tow would finally make an appearance on Verizon after months of waiting, on February 13.

Immediately after, we received information that some Nexus 7 cases in Verizon packaging were already spotted in stores, ahead of the launch.

Droid-Life has posted a few pictures showcasing the packages that have reportedly hit storage rooms in stores, with the added mention that they can’t be sold just yet. This hopefully means the carrier is remaining true to the February 13 date.

As you can see from the pictures, the package bears the “Verizon 4G LTE CERTIFIED” mark. Usually getting an LTE certification takes about 4-6 weeks, but in this particular case things were stretched along since September up until now.

Remember that a few months ago it was discovered some users had a problem with getting their Nexus 7 to connect to the Verizon LTE network? Due to the complaints, big red finally announced Nexus 7 owners would have to wait for the Android 4.4 KitKat build, before their problems could finally come to an end.

Back in September, the carrier said the tablet was in the process of getting its LTE certification, but then everything came to a halt.

“During the certification process for the Nexus 7, Google, ASUS and Verizon uncovered a system issue that requires Google and ASUS to undertake additional work with Jelly bean OS running on the device.”

“Since Google was about launch its new Kit Kat OS rather than undertake this work, Google and ASUS asked Verizon to suspend its certification process until Google’s new OS was available on the Nexus 7.”

The Nexus 7 model going to be sold through Verizon bundles 32GB of storage and the Google Play price for the LTE model is $349 / €256.
