Nexus 7 2012 might be last year’s news, but that doesn't mean it’s not a very good tablet, still. And for those of you who are located in India, Flipkart is currently chopping off the price for the first-gen Nexus 7 device considerably.

Those interested can grab the slate for Rs 9,999 / $163 / €119 as opposed to the original Rs 15,999 / $260 / €190, which translates into you getting the tablet with a 37% discount.

Note this is the price for the 16GB version of the tablet. Apart from that, the Nexus 7 2012 comes with a 7-inch screen that bundles a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz Tegra 3 CPU coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The slate is also equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC and has a worthy 4,325 mAh battery to keep everything working.

Also note the Nexus 7 2012 OTA update for Android KitKat 4.4 has arrived in India, so you’ll be able to take advantages of all the novelties available with the new build too.
