The next-gen editions of Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, and Madden NFL 25 will be released ahead of the actual next-gen consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to Electronic Arts.

EA is going to launch quite a few big titles this fall, from new entries in its hugely successful sports franchises – FIFA 14 and Madden NFL 25 – to its yearly shooter, this time in the form of Battlefield 4.

All three titles, besides appearing for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, will also be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next-gen consoles this November.

After both consoles have received their release dates, Electronic Arts has revealed through the voice of its Chief Operating Officer, Peter Moore, the launch dates of the three titles, which will appear earlier or on the same day as the new devices.

"I’m happy to confirm today the street dates for these three titles on next-generation consoles: Nov. 19 (North America)/Nov. 21 (Europe) for Xbox One and Nov. 12 (North America)/Nov. 29 (Europe) for PlayStation 4," Moore wrote on the official blog.

Even so, Moore advises fans of these franchises to get the games as soon as they appear for the current consoles, as they can get a head start on mastering their multiplayer modes and even take advantage of upgrade offers through different retail stores, which allow owners of current-gen games to get the next-gen versions for a small fee.

"We want to make it simple to start playing on current-generation consoles, and then transition to the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 later. Here's a couple of easy ways how: - Playing early on the Xbox 360 or PS3 means you will be able to learn maps, unlock items, and build stats in Battlefield 4; or create your Ultimate Teams and more in FIFA 14 and Madden NFL 25. You can then seamlessly carry over a lot of cool content from the current gen game to a new Xbox One or PS4 version to get a jump on the competition. - Offers from many of our retail partners will help you buy Battlefield 4, FIFA 14 or Madden NFL 25 on the Xbox 360 or PS3, and then upgrade to an Xbox One or PS4 version."

The PS4 is out on November 15, in North America, and November 29, in Europe, while the Xbox One is out on November 22 in 13 countries.
