The Korean company behind the NexPlayer media player, Nextreaming has just released its latest customizable video player SDK for Android, iPad and iPhone. The company, well-known as a provider of multimedia SW for handsets, rolls out the NexPlayer SDK only as a commercialware version. Even though the video and music player is showing premium quality for multimedia streaming and download services, developers that need the SDK will have to pay to have access to the source code.

Dr. Il-Taek Lim (Nextreaming CEO) said: “The excellent market acceptance of iPhone, iPad and Android devices together with the growing application markets make those platforms a strategic focus of Nextreaming. With NexPlayer SDK, we offer to Application Makers and Service Providers the possibility to quickly prepare high quality applications regardless of the used multimedia formats. We will continuously keep upgrading and optimizing our player for the upcoming Android, iPad and iPhone devices with the support of the latest multimedia formats.”

NexPlayer SDK will be distributed network carriers and service providers in applications for download via the iPhone and Android App Stores. The ease of use, as well as the functionality of the player are the main highlight of the SDK, which can be integrated into any existing application.

For those that want to test the application, the developer also provides a sample UI in source code, enabling a very fast integration process and time-to-market by application developers.

NexPlayer SDK is the perfect complement for Android, iPad and iPhone pre-embedded players. The SDK can be used to provide users with new services and customized applications with advanced functionalities such as, DRM-services, high quality resizing and additional codecs and protocols support.

Developers that decide to buy Nextreaming's SDK will be able to provide their customers with one of the best user experience on any device and with any multimedia format.
