Google's search box is currently one of the most used technologies on the Internet because it provides quick access to the best search engine ever created. That's why several companies on the Internet are looking to include the Google search box on their pages and allow users to search the firm and the Internet directly from their website. The Telegraph is just one of the newspapers that want to include the search box on their online version of the publication to allow users to find information on the Internet.

"thetelegraph.com is dedicated to providing our online audience with easy access to the wealth of information on the Internet. Our alignment with Google exemplifies our commitment to enabling our consumers to access information about anything, anywhere, anytime," said Jim Shrader, publisher of The Telegraph. "Working with an industry leader like Google will enable thetelegraph.com to bring the power, functionality and convenience of Google Search to millions of users everyday," The Telegraph reported.

The main goal of the online publication is to allow users to search the Internet as well as their website without leaving the page. As you know, Google provides a special service, Custom Search, to allow all the users to implement the search technology directly on the page. Some time ago, I tested the product and I found it quite easy to use and efficient, offering the possibility to customize the search engine using a simple wizard.

The partnership between Google and the newspapers is almost similar to the one announced by Yahoo between the company and several publications meant to improve the HotJobs service. Using the agreement, Yahoo aims to publish the job openings usually published in the newspapers directly on the online service, trying to attract the readers to the company.
