News360 has just announced the third major update of its news aggregator application for Android devices.

It appears that the application has been slightly redesigned and several new features have been introduced, which makes the cross-platform newsreader even more appealing.

The latest version of News360 adds extra content personalization technology, which greatly enhances the smartphone experience.

According to News360, if allowed, the application can successfully analyze a user’s activity on various social networking and Web services, including Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Google Reader and Evernote and come up with an “interest graph” that reveals user's reading interests as well as topic areas.

Users have really responded to the personalization in News260 2.0. On tablets and on the web, our ‘reverse search engine’ approach that monitors the web for things that might be relevant to you, has helped our users get the stories that matter to them without losing the big picture. We know you don’t have time to get to everything you want to do. So we’ve made sure you can read what you want, when you want it, no matter what device you are using,” says Roman Karachinsky, CEO.

In addition, all interested graphs generated can be saved and synced across other mobile phones, tablets, as well as Internet.

Furthermore, users can share all or parts of these interest graphs with their friends, allowing for a deep integration of the results into their news experience.

Currently, News360 newsreader uses linguistics and semantic analysis to understand more than 700,000 entities and 150,000 unique articles daily.

The application is searching specifically for the quality of the writing, tone, subject, source, author and more.

News360 3.0 for Android is now available as a free application from Android Market and is compatible will all devices running Android 2.2 and up.
