The evolution of a lawsuit between News Corp. and DISH Network Corp. reveals shocking details which took place in the past, although nobody would ever expect such a thing from a large corporation like News Corp. To be more specific, a computer hacker who testified a few days ago revealed that he was hired by News Corp. to build pirating software, CDR Info informs today. Although the hacker sustains the applications he developed have never been intended to be used on rivals satellite television services, DISH Network Corp's lawyers claim the hacker's job was to break into their system.

Although nobody can say for sure which was the role of the hacker inside News Corp., one thing is certain: Christopher Tarnovsky, the hacker who claims he was hired by News Corp., admitted he received his first $20,000 salary "in cash hidden in electronic devices mailed from Canada," CDR Info continued.

"Tarnovsky said that he had never got money for reprogramming Echostar cards. What he did was the development of a device called the stinger that could communicate with any smart card in the world," the mentioned source adds.

Such accusations should end in huge damages in case the plaintiffs manage to prove that the hacker was paid to break into their system. And like it wouldn't be enough that News Corp. paid the hacker by hiding money into electronic gadgets... We can't be sure that hacker's testimony was 100 percent true but in case it is, the accusations are extremely serious.

Hiring a hacker is not a new thing on the market because security companies have always choose to hire these people because of their advanced computer knowledge. Imagine that for a hacker who manages to break into a security system he knows, building one should be a piece of cake.
