App Store Expense Monitor, a free program that gathers all iPhone applications from your iTunes library, reads the price information, and presents the total amount of money you spent on the Apple App Store, has reached version 1.2.3. The new release reportedly fixes a crash on launch caused by Hackulous apps. Hackulous develops Installous, a program for the iPhone, iPod, and iPad that lets jailbroken users browse for and install cracked apps straight on the device. WetFish Software, the maker of App Store Expense monitor, encourage customers to pay for their apps, suggesting Hackulous’ solution is not the way to go.

VueScan 8.6.34, the second update we’re here to talk about, is a minor release from Hamrick Software. By only adding support for Canon 9000F, it seems the update was highly requested by both users of VueScan and owners of a Canon 9000F scanner. VueScan is a powerful scanning utility available for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.
The CanoScan 9000F is aimed at high-end film scanning needs, according to its maker. It has a maximum resolution of 9600 x 9600 and uses high-quality color reproduction, a technology that automatically removes dust and scratches (FARE Level 3), backlight correction, and more.

OnyX, a multifunction system utility for Mac OS X, has been promoted to version 2.1.5 Beta 3. The new release shows/hides the alert message at first launch of downloaded applications, displays the Maintenance Scripts Logs, improves deleting of temporary items, Mobile Devices CrashReporter, Internet Cache, and User Cache, allows users to choose the panel to open automatically at launch, and improves the Utilities > Find and Verify > Preferences panels.
