Here's one more mobile phone expected to see the light on AT&T's airwaves this year, the so-called Samsung Infinity, which adds to the long list of handsets that we've already seen during the last couple of days taking the same road, following a bunch of smartphones running under Android, Symbian or Windows Mobile.

The new Samsung Infinity comes with a 3-inch WQVGA display able to provide a 240 x 400 pixel resolution and support for 262k colors, along with a 2-megapixel photo snapper with fixed focus and video recording capabilities, while including Quad band EDGE (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz) and dual band HSDPA (UMTS) 850 / 1900MHz connectivity.

The specifications list of the handset also shows a music player with support for WMA, MP3 and AAC file formats, messaging capabilities with video messaging features and Instant Messaging functionality with support for (MSN, Yahoo, and AOL), speakerphone, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and USB 2.0 connectivity, aGPS capabilities, and a microSD memory card for additional storage space.

The newly spotted Samsung Infinity measures 108 x 57 x 13.2mm and includes a 1000 mAh battery, though there are no details on the performance level it can offer. As can be seen in the leaked slide, the device should come with full-touch capabilities, even if there are no details on whether it will include MediaFLO support or not, but it seems that it is more likely not to.

At the same time, the leaked document also points towards July 20 as the possible release date for the mobile phone, yet it remains to be seen whether it will actually come on that day or not, as it actually happens with all the recently spotted AT&T handsets. Unfortunately, there are no details on what price tag it might feature when available. More should surface in the near future, so stay tuned to learn when exactly the phone comes and how much it costs.
