Destined exclusively for open-source platforms

BitDefender Mail Protection for Enterprises, BitDefender Mail Protection for SMB together with BitDefender for Samba File Servers are the latest three security products form BitDefender destined for Linux and FreeBDS (Berkeley Software Distribution) platforms.

The first is designed with large companies and Internet services providers offering protection antivirus, antispam and antispyware protection for mail servers' users. Mail Protection for Enterprises gives not only a heightened level of security but also benefits related to managing the system's security, an additional options for Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) compatibility.

BitDefender Mail Protection for SMB provides a model of simplicity, efficiency and quality, that integrates with Linux or FreeBSD: Sendmail, Qmail, CommuniGate Pro, Courier sau Postfi server platforms through specially designed modules, but also with a wider area of servers with a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol proxy module.

The last of the three BitDefender for Samba File Server is an antivirus solution providing support for per-share and SNMP security settings and individual security options for each file share.
