Throughout 2011, we've talked about plenty of accessories designed specifically for one of the world's best-known Internet tablets, the Apple iPad, and it seems that, as we approach the year's end, this trend continues, with the people over at Bracketron announcing a versatile new desktop stand for the popular Apple iPad, called the Lift. As far as iPad accessories are concerned, we're pretty sure that we'll be doing a whole lot more coverage over the course of 2011, especially since Apple plans to release its next-generation tablet, the iPad 2, that will certainly be followed by yet another flood of dedicated accessories, coming from Bracketron and the other manufacturers out there.

Now, before talking about the Lift, we'll offer you a bit of background info on the manufacturer, Bracketron being actively involved in the supply of mounting solutions and accessories for GPS devices, satellite radios, cell phones, iPod/iPhone/iPad, BlackBerry devices, laptop & netbook computers and other mobile electronics.

The ultra slim iPad Lift features eight convenient viewing angles and the ability to collapse flat for easy portability when the user is on the go and decides to take his/her iPad along.

Moreover, the nonslip feet and sturdy design securely hold the iPad in both portrait and landscape modes for a very high level flexibility, a feature that will certainly represent a major selling point for this product.

"The iPad continues to grow in popularity and has turned the portable computing business on its head," said Mark Mandel, Executive Vice President, adding that "we believe the iPad Lift is the ideal companion accessory to take with you wherever you go."

Unfortunately, the company's reps have not provided any significant information regarding the possible pricing of the iPad Lift, but they'll certainly have to offer it at an attractive price point, given the very serious competition in this market segment.
