As the official launch of HTC’s next flagship Android-based smartphone approaches, more and more info on the device makes it to the web, in all kinds of forms.

We’ve already had the chance to have a look at new, high-resolution photos with the handset (which might arrive on shelves as the All New HTC One), and we can now take a look at another video that shows some of its features.

On top of that, a series of unique cases for the smartphone can also be admired in leaked images, providing us with more info on what the phone might have to offer when made official.

The new video with the smartphone is quite short, at only one minute and a half, and only offers a short glimpse at the device, yet it does confirm that the phone will hit the market with Android 4.4.2 KitKat loaded on top.

At the same time, the video shows that the new smartphone will feature the same looks as the HTC One, and confirms once again that it will pack twin cameras on the back. It also unveils 16GB/32GB phone models.

The clip is available courtesy of YouTube user YLSMixtapes, yet there’s no telling on whether it is the real deal or not, so we’ll take it with a grain of salt for the time being (the clip has already been removed from YouTube, but can be seen at nowhereelse.fr. Screenshots with the device are available below).

Until an official confirmation on the All New HTC One emerges, you might also want to have a look at the aforementioned covers for it, supposedly called “Dot” cases.

These were designed to cover the phone’s screen for protection, but they also sport minor perforations that allow users to see the time without having to open the case.

While there are no specific details on how the cases work, chances are that they are either self-powered or powered by the smartphone itself, and that the perforations have small LEDs inside, so as to create the wanted image.

Provided that this is indeed the case, HTC would become the second large smartphone maker out there to adopt such cases, after LG made a similar move with its LG Vu3.

As leaked photos available courtesy of @evleaks unveil, HTC might release these cases in a multitude of color flavors. What remains to be seen is whether other functionality will also be included inside them.

One other detail that said tipster has unveiled on the All New HTC One was that it might also arrive on the market as a Google Play Edition device. HTC One and other flagship models last year were launched this way, and the new handset could follow the trend, it seems.
