Gran Turismo 5 is a pretty good game that brings the realism of racing on tracks all around the world in very expensive and powerful cars straight into your living room. The game has several distinct features such as 16 player online races or full high definition gaming experience with the visuals on 1080p and high fidelity 7.1 channel sound.

Recently, the creator, Polyphony Digital, announced that the game would receive a new update, which would consist of three new cars that make their appearance in the game and a series of gameplay tweaks and improvements. The three new vehicles will be the Ferrari California, available for 300,000 in-game credits, the Lotus Evora, going for only 100,000 credits and the highly anticipated GT by Citroen, which will come in at a very expensive 1,000,000 credits.

Out of the three, the GT by Citroen is the most expected by GT 5 fans all over the world. The result of a partnership between the French manufacturer and the developer of the game, the car has been officially unveiled as a concept at last week's Paris Auto Show, and it really looks gorgeous, which is why it will surely be on everyone's shopping list in the game.

Also, the gameplay tweaks consist of changes to the penalty system, which will now invalidate a lap if a speed penalty is received during the time trial events. Other changes have been made to the difficulty settings and a much more substantial reward is offered for finishing on first place. The issue regarding the wireless controller has also been fixed, players reporting faulty responsiveness when using the controller. And as a special feature, the Drift Trial event will be enabled with a rolling start for the players.

Polyphony Digital has also issued a warning saying that certain custom specific content, like trial times or quick tune settings, will not be available after the update is made, so be careful if you want to update.
