New photos showing the night that Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was caught in Watertown have emerged.

They have been published by the Boston Magazine and captured by Massachusetts State Police Sergeant Sean Murphy.

As I mentioned before, he was suspended when he released the first batch of pictures, as a result of the Rolling Stone magazine putting Tsarnaev on their cover.

Murphy is now working at the State Police barracks in Athol, where he has been granted the graveyard shift – 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

“I hope that the people who see these images will know that this was real. [...] It was as real as it gets,” he said.

The photo attached above shows Tsarnaev getting off a boat that he was hiding under, shot and severely injured. He was getting ready to surrender.
