After spending years in gestational limbo, “The Three Stooges” has finally seen the light of day – or will, to be more exact. Ahead of its April release, the film has just gotten a brand new trailer.

It still failed to impress audiences, judging by the comments on dedicated forums so far.

The Peter and Bobby Farrelly's remake is trying to bring back the humor that defined comedy as we know it today, but perhaps the biggest problem with this particular project is the timing of it.

Voices online point out that the jokes that were considered funny back in the time of the original Stooges can't possibly apply today, not without considerable effort to “update” them.

Said effort seems to have lacked in the making of this film.

“The Three Stooges” opens on April 13. Check out the new trailer to see what all the fuss is about.
