Ozura Mobile announced today the official release of its latest tournament game on MaxGames, Maxis' mobile gaming community portal which runs on Ozura's FunlogiX platform.

Lawak Kampus: Spot Check is based on Gempak, one of the most popular comic magazines in Malaysia. With the preservation of the original comics' distinct artistic flavor, the Lawak Kampus game is pre-destined to be a hit title among casual gamers and fans of the comic alike.

The game storyline is based on the Gempak gang's reaction to a random 'spot check'. A spot check is a popular slang term for a random and sudden search for items that are deemed illegal by the school systems. The mechanics of the game revolve around the unique idea of jumping on a trampoline to collect illegal items which are individually colored red, blue, green or yellow. Things are made interesting with five different challenges in story mode, each with their own goals: Dominoes, Fill it Up, Attack of the Combos, The Rainbow Sequence and Only Gempak.

"The game will appeal not only to Gempak's fan base but to anyone who enjoys a fun and entertaining mobile game. With its mass market appeal, Lawak Kampus will make a great addition to MaxGames' growing list of competitive games," said Lion Peh, Ozura Mobile's Chief Executive Officer.

Lawak Kampus: Spot Check will be joining MaxGames' current tournament games - Desert Rider and Magma Run.

Along with the release of the Lawak Kampus game, MaxGames has also launched its brand new website to supplement its previous WAP based community with an online presence. The website retains the features currently available on the WAP site but surpasses its WAP counterpart with its ease of browsing and in-depth information on every aspect of MaxGames available through a friendly yet aesthetically pleasing user interface.
