Nokia 5800 XpressMusic owners might find it difficult to get new themes for their handsets sometimes, given the fact that most of them come with bugs related to the tabs, preventing them from accessing tabbed areas, yet there are some that work just fine with the device, and Blue Ray’s themes are among them.

The Matting theme comes in red and a blue variants, a high-resolution background and a custom icon pack included, offering users more than 150 third-party application icons, while also allowing them to install the default icon version. The theme can be used with S60 3rd Edition smartphones as well, though the wallpaper seems to be a little stretched when in landscape.

Paint is another nice theme from Blue Ray, and it too has been developed in both red and blue variants. The theme uses SVG graphics, meaning that it should fit just well the 5800 XpressMusic’s elongated display, while also working fine on S60 3rd Edition smartphones like the E71 or E75. Paint is available with custom or default icons as well, depending on users' choice.

Owners of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile phones are also able to enjoy SkyeCaller II, and application that comes from SkyeStream and is able to presents full-screen picture ID when a phone call or text message is received from any contact in the address book (by default, the device shows a little thumbnail image).

Nokia already took a step towards addressing this issue with the launch of S60v3 Feature Pack 2, and the thumbnail is larger than before, yet SkyeCaller also comes with an entire series of additional settings that FP2 doesn't. Users are able to set a default image to appear when the call comes from someone not included in the address book, and they are also allowed to customize the appearance, font colors and details included.
