This week is going to be a great one for all you bomb fans out there! Hudson Entertainment has announced that it is going to release a new theme (the second) and new Gamerpics (the third batch) for Bomberman Live on Xbox Live Arcade. The 28th of November is the date you want to remember for that.

The theme is: Rocky Bomboa clobbering the competition and just after hearing that name you probably know what to expect!

The gamerpics will bring up the policewoman (Lt. Bomb, that is), the ninja (Shinobi Bomb), the hip hop heavyweight (Bomb Diggity), the Egyptian queen (Bombopatra), and the biker (Bomber X). These new gamerpics should now complete the list for those who enjoy such nice, simple and addicting games and want, at the same time, more character types to choose from.

If you haven't done it already, remember to download for free the update for Bomberman Live, on Xbox Live. This was released on the 19th of November and repairs a few things, like the correct costume display, no more power-up lag or more dangerous bombs appearing after kicking two bombs, over six figures of bombing (which means numbers over one hundred thousand can be displayed) and Scavenger ability to be turned on for the "Plunder Isle Level".

Hudson's Bomberman Live offers crazy paced and funny online action for up to 8 players and allows players to fully customize their characters (there are over ten thousand possible combinations). And it all started such a long time ago with Hudsonsoft's first Bomberman. The franchise must bring sweet memories to players of different ages, with its hot seat multiplayer action from the first Bomberman or the funny Atomic Bomberman. A simple game, easy to learn, hard to master, offering everybody a break from the ultra-violent games nowadays.
