The idea of being able to listen to one's favorite music just about everywhere one might decide to travel at any given moment is quite an exciting one, and that's also probably the reason why Travelteq introduced the TRIP suitcase.

Well, to be perfectly honest, calling the TRIP a “suitcase” is a blatant understatement, given the fact that it actually comes packed to the teeth with audio technology, namely an easily removable sound system consisting of 2 x 15W, 2.5-inch full range drivers, that's placed right inside the aluminium case, for a higher level of resonance.

The audio system offers a fairly good frequency response, namely -3dB range 50Hz-20kHz at -3dB, and should prove to be quite enough for listening to some OK quality music either within a hotel room or some public venue (like an airport terminal, for example).

We'll also have to mention that the whole thing is powered by a Li-Ion battery (1800 mAH) that has a charge time of around 3 hours and is capable of providing a functioning time of around 12 hours, depending specifically on the volume level.

Now, moving on the actual enclosure (or suitcase), we must point out the fact that it's actually pretty roomy (measuring 55 x 25 x 35 cm and weighing around 6.25 kg), while in the same time being quite tough, featuring sides that are made of special aluminum sandwich panels with an ABS-PC honeycomb structure center.

Additionally, the case also sports easily-expandable legs, which means that users can easily sit on it as well, its special structure being able to withstand weights of up to 150 kilos.

Unfortunately, pricing for the TRIP audio case from Travelteq is far from affordable, the device selling for a cool 750 Euro, which is not exactly a sum many users will afford to pay for this thing.
