StarCraft 2? Oh my God, when was it released? Did I miss it? That's what you're probably wondering right now, as you think you've either missed the launch of the new StarCraft game, or I've misspelled the title of this article. As unbelievable as it may seem, the patch you're about to download was released for the original Starcraft title and the Brood War expansion, making them reach the 1.15.2 version. In case you're wondering what the update brings, it's not an extraordinary feature revamping the title, but rather an option allowing you to play the game without a CD. So, talks aside, you can download the latest StarCraft patch HERE and Brood War's patch HERE.

In case you're not familiar with Blizzard's masterpiece and you've been hiding inside a cave all these years, StarCraft is one of the most famous RTS titles ever. For many gamers it is the definition of real time strategy and it was also the best selling game in 1998. In case you're interested, we're talking about a media product that sold almost 10 million copies globally. For me, StarCraft is the definition of long nights spent collecting resources, like minerals and vespene gas in order to defeat those nasty Zergs.

I'm a Terran fan and always have been, but maybe StarCraft 2 will manage to change my idea on this whole sci-fi real time combat of species. You might think that this patch is useless, since nobody plays a title that's about 10 years old. On the contrary, my dear gaming friends! I know for a fact that RTS fans are still playing this game and even claiming that it still stands as the best RTS ever and you can easily find hundreds of thousands of people playing StarCraft on many servers, as we speak.
