LucasArts' Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the game that will be released this summer, is already a highly anticipated title by all the Jedi wannabes in the world. But the developers don't want this game to be just "another Star Wars" game - they want it to be unique and bring a fresh look for the genre lovers.

Some new and interesting technologies have been therefore introduced or polished for the game. First of all, we have the well known Havok, which makes it possible for the game to displace multiple on-screen objects in realistic fashion - exactly what any Force fan should receive. And this is just the beginning.

Because LucasArts brings a technology called Digital Molecular Matter, developed by Pixelux Entertainment, which simulates the authentic movement of environmental objects, such as warped metal, splintered wood, or shattered glass. So expect to be delighted - wrecking everything around you has never been as fun as it is in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed!

And the latest technology that is going to be used in the game is the innovative Euphoria, which allows your enemy to have a very realistic and varied behavior: for example, if you throw a box towards a trooper, he will either try to duck, grab on or just go crazy and freak out. The developers promise that no two actions are ever the same and we should believe them - there have been trailers about what Euphoria can do and, boy, it can do a lot of cool stuff!

The Force Unleashed casts players as Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The game's story is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In it, players will assist the iconic villain in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi - and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny. And don't tell us that changing the course of history (even if it is just a virtual one) is something you wouldn't like to do.
