Disney Interactive Studios is very proud to announce their release of the second set of Spectrobes! You must unearth, rouse and nurture these prehistoric creatures on the Nintendo DS to save the universe from the villainous Krawl. Details and images for sets of four Spectrobes creatures leading up to the game's availability will be released by Disney on Tuesday, March 13.

The story is pretty simple as the Krawl threaten to destroy the galaxy, the only hope for survival laying in the hands of sleeping, ancient beings named Spectrobes. The daunting task of awakening and training these powerful creatures has fallen on two Planetary Patrol officers, Rallen and Jeena. Helping the Spectrobes to evolve and become more powerful is the game's main goal.

Gameplay features of the artistic environment emulator of Japanese manga and anime that are immersing players in the valiant battle to save the galaxy are: three forms for each Spectrobe based on their growth (child, adult and evolved); being creatures of light (often represented by red, green and blue), each Spectrobe has only one of these attributes: Corona is strong against Aurora, Aurora is strong against Flash, Flash is strong against Corona (pretty much like rock-scissors-paper).

The newly released Spectrobes are presented in the following manner with their very own forms and special abilities: -Spiko: has thick hair all over his body which is actually softer than it looks; he uses the hammer attached to his tail to bust open rocks when searching for minerals his form is Child and he has the power of Aurora on his side; you don't need to know other details like length and weight, you'll see them for your self when you play the game; -Segulos: a defensive Spectrobe who has two large shoulder shields that he uses for protection and attack; Form: Adult, Attribute: Aurora; -Kugaster: a remote Spectrobe whose body is basically a fully-loaded flying firecracker; he is Evolved and uses Aurora; -Shakor: a fish-like Spectrobe who swims, not through water but through the air, combining his lightning speed and thunderous power to attack with a knife-like head; he is also Adult but has a different special ability and that is Flash.

You still have a while longer before you use the Aurora or the Flash powers, as Spectrobes won't be available until on March 13, 2007.
