The new flavor of the application was released with various enhancements included inside, with performance improvements and fixes for some issues the application had with the networks of T-Mobile USA and Orange in the UK.

The new Internet radio application flavor was made available for download today in a beta version, with the said enhancements inside, and with bug fixes for Symbian S^3 and S60 5th Edition (Java Runtime 2.1 and 1.4).

Symbian users who already had the application installed on their mobile phones should remove the previous version before downloading and installing the new release.

The development team also notes that S60 5th edition users should consider installing Java Runtime 2.1 beta before launching the installation process for Soundtrckr 1.3

To install the new application version, users should do the following:

- Download the .zip file to your PC and extract the .jar and .jad files to a folder on your PC. - Transfer both the .jar and .jad files to your mobile device over Bluetooth or USB. - On your mobile device browse to the location where you saved the .jad and .jar files. - Install the application by selecting the .jar file.

The instructions apply to both Symbian^3 and S60 5th edition devices. More info on this can be found in the video embedded at the bottom of this article.
