Codasystem, the company that created certified digital photography, announces that its Shoot&Proof application is now available for BlackBerry smartphones. Business users as well as individuals are able to capture images on their BlackBerry smartphones, host and share them in a secure environment.

With a growth rate in excess of 100 percent in the last two years and several technological innovation awards since it started up in 2001, the French company Codasystem is now further expanding its Shoot&Proof offer.

Since the beginning of the year, Shoot&Proof wireless software has been deployed by many construction and public works, real estate, poster advertising, the press and maintenance.

Shoot&Proof fully meets the needs of businesses of all kinds and individuals who are looking for a system for hosting and sharing high-quality digital pictures. Because it establishes the legal value of photos, who took what pictures, when and where, Shoot&Proof stands out from existing, usually free services for publishing and sharing photos.

“We are extremely proud to announce today that our software is compatible with the BlackBerry solution,” stated Frédéric Levaux, the Chairman of Codasystem. “Porting it to BlackBerry smartphones seemed self-evident, and we spent several months working on that with the people at RIM. Codasystem targets some of the same business users as RIM, so we can now address additional markets and win over new customers.”

Technical abilities as cryptography, as well as full mastery of the links of the process enable Codasystem to assure the legal value of digital photography taken with the Shoot&Proof application. Although an extremely broad spectrum of business people uses photos today, such offers are of no help to them, since the level of service delivered is not compatible with business requirements.

In addition, because digital photos can be altered by anyone, a service provider will have trouble proving that an event was held or a service actually performed.
