Apple has recently added a new section to its website. It's called Find Out How and it offers video tutorials of the most desirable aspects regarding Macs. Categories included are Mac OS X, Photos, Movies, Web, Music and Documents.

Under each section, there's something like a small Discovery Channel for every topic. For Mac OS X, you have Anatomy of a Mac, Move to Mac and Windows on a Mac. The Photo section also offers a very comprehensive and complete guide to creating photobooks, slideshows, a calendar, a web gallery, a card and how to share everything by email.

Moving on to the Movies section, novice Mac users benefit from thorough insights on fun video-stuff ranging from making an actual movie to trimming a video and sharing it to YouTube.

Web - for those who use their Mac as a primary Internet-navigation tool, stuff like creating a website, customizing your pages, creating a photo album page, creating a movie page or a blog and even publishing your very own website, is sure to come in handy.

But I'll bet that some Mac owners also want to use their chosen hardware for managing and even creating music (like Paul Van Dyk does). For this handful of people, learning how to record an instrument into their Mac is crucial, not to mention using software instruments, too. When the song is almost done, the next step is to take it to the mixer. Everything is detailed to the smallest aspect in the Music section of Find Out How.

Although this well-thought-out guide is not only aimed to newcomers, Mac owners will generally benefit from a guide to understanding the interface of every program and its respective features. After all, if you cannot understand what's on-screen, you might as well go read a book or watch a movie. You can also check out Find Out How in iTunes.
