A batch of fresh details about the new Rainbow Six game from Ubisoft have just appeared, saying that the tactical first person shooter will have an innovative morality system that will provide multiple choices to players through its levels and missions.

Ubisoft's Rainbow Six series has always been about taking a more tactical approach to first person shooters, and, while the last two Rainbow Six Vegas games have added more action elements, it still commands a loyal fan base.

We first heard the details of a new Rainbow Six game before the start of E3 2011, where many believed Ubisoft would present it to the world.

Now, after the conference ended, Kotaku arrives with a new batch of details about that game that is still in development.

We already knew that the Rainbow Six team would be forced to hunt and take down a group of American terrorists that have gotten sick of the "greedy Wall Street" and the government that protects the corporations.

Now, it seems that, besides testing out the tactical prowess of the players, the untitled Rainbow Six game will also provide ample choices to players and even a morality system that can enable different scenarios to play out each time you go through the game.

This is exemplified by a sequence described by the website, where terrorists capture a civilian and strap on him a vest filled with explosives. Players will be put in the shoes of the civilian as he makes his way onto a bridge filled with other people.

After that, players assume the role of the Rainbow Six commander, who needs to decide if the civilian needs to be killed in order to save the rest of the innocent people or take other courses of action, like throwing him off a bridge or incapacitating, each branching off into different endings.

The website highlights that Ubisoft hasn't decided on whether to use the morality system on the new Rainbow Six game, so we may not get an official announcement just yet.
