14 DAY TRIAL // If you’re one of the millions of fans of Robert Rodriguez’s “Sin City,” all this waiting for the sequel must have been getting on your nerves, especially considering the many changes in plans and the delayed release.
However, today we have a brand new teaser poster for “Sin City 2,” which was initially called “A Dame to Kill For,” was changed to “A Dame to Die For” and is now back to the original title.
The film will be out in August 2014, having pushed back from the October 2013 slot without much in the way of an explanation.
“In Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Dwight is hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord, and then watches his life go straight to hell. Chronologically, this story takes place prior to ‘The Big Fat Kill’ (featured in the film Frank Miller’s Sin City) and explains how Dwight came to have a dramatically different face,” reads a short synopsis of the film.
The sequel brings back some of the principal cast but also adds new faces, totaling one of the most impressive casts ever because it includes: Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Josh Brolin, Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jaime King, Jeremy Piven, Eva Green, Juno Temple, Ray Liotta, Dennis Haysbert, Christopher Meloni, Jamie Chung, Julia Garner and Stacy Keach.
