Even if you didn't manage to get your hands on a PS3 or a Wii, you might still have a chance. Looks like Sony and Nintendo are planning to refill GameStop's next-gen consoles supplies.

GameSpot reports that in an investor conference, GameStop executives confirmed that they have received more PS3s and Wiis and that they will put them up for sale soon. Moreover, they revealed that they will receive weekly supply of Sony and Nintendo consoles.

In the same conference, the best selling Wii and PS3 titles were revealed. Coming as no surprise, the bets selling Wii titles were The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Red Stell. PS3 owners preferred Resistance: Fall of Man and Madden NFL 07.

GameStop also reports higher game titles sales for the Nintedo Wii, some 3 games sold for every console, twice as much as the game titles sold for the PS3. We can draw only one conclusion from this, namely that swindlers and resellers are more into the PS3. Once the consoles end up into the hands of some true gamers, PS3 games sales will surely increase.

But how many true gamers are prepared to pay astronomic amounts of cash for a Sony console? PS3s are selling for twice their original value, and if you ask me, it's not really worth it.
