The BlackBerry Curve 8520, also known under the name of Gemini, has been recently spotted into the wild again, only that this time the handset was sporting T-Mobile's logo on it. While the phone made it into the wild a few times before, this seems to be the first time it can be admired with the carrier's logo, which means that it will become available on its airwaves as well.

The image made it into the wild via a post on the CrackBerry forums, and we can say that it comes as rather good news for T-Mobile's users, as the handset seems to be a great smartphone. Not only that it is expected to come as an upgrade to the existing BlackBerry Curve 8320, but it also features a wide range of novelties compared to the previous model, including an optical trackpad, which marks a shift from the standard trackball Research in Motion used on other handsets.

The specification list of the device also includes a 320 x 240 pixel screen, support for GPRS/EDGE connectivity (the device is also expected to come to the market as a quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) phone capable of global roaming), Wi-Fi (802.11b/802.11g), Bluetooth, micro USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, a full-QWERTY keyboard with predictive text input, as well as a 2.0-megapixel photo snapper.

At the same time, the handset should also include a 512MHz processor, 128 MB RAM / 256 MB ROM, multimedia player with support for MPEG4, WMV, H.263 video formats and MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, WAV, AMR audio files, as well as with a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space. For the time being, there are no details on when the BlackBerry Curve 8520 should come to the market, yet that might not happen too far in the future after all. Stay tuned to learn more details as soon as they become available.
