Gaming enthusiasts faced with a complete gaming offering

Alienware, Dell's new gaming division, has recently announced the introduction of a new line of desktop system peripherals, designed to provide gaming enthusiasts with support for a high-quality gaming experience on their latest Alienware gaming rigs. Being one of the most recognizable brands in the gaming and enthusiast market, the new peripherals have been designed with high-performance specifications and a sleek design, focused on providing users with the required features to improve their gaming skills.

The company's new line of gaming peripherals includes a new keyboard, mouse, headphones and LCD, all designed to offer users a choice for a complete desktop rig, boasting the Alienware signature. The keyboard, mouse and headphones are part of the company's new TactX family of products, while the wide, 21.5-inch monitor is part of the new OptX series.

Kicking off with the TactX keyboard, Alienware fans and gaming enthusiasts will be able to take advantage of a full-sized keyboard boasting six additional, customizable macro keys, a required feature for any respectable gaming keyboard. Additional features include the WASD gaming cluster with the anti-ghosting technology, customizable lighting for two zones with 20 different color choices, unlimited, customizable user profiles, built-in multimedia controls and a six-foot USB 2.0 cable.

The Alienware TactX mouse has been featured with a 5000 DPI laser engine with on-the-fly DPI switching, customizable lighting, nine customizable buttons and five customizable user profiles and vertical and horizontal scrolling with dual vertical scroll modes. Coupled with the TactX headset, which boasts a retractable microphone and closed, circumaural ear cups, the three gaming peripherals can provide users with a high-quality gaming experience.

Last but not the least comes the new OptX AW2210 gaming widescreen flat panel, boasting a 21.5-inch form factor and support for a full-HD, 1920 x 1080 screen resolution. The new monitor also sports a 2m response time, an 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a tilt-, swivel- and height-adjustable stand.

As far as pricing and availability goes, the four new peripherals are available through the company's website for US$99.99 – keyboard and mouse, US$79.99 for the headphones and US$299.00 for the widescreen LCD.
