In tune with the holiday season, companies are releasing new desktop PC models, hoping for their products to become the subject of desire for those wishing to buy themselves or someone else a new system for the holidays. In this case, however, three computers are introduced by a company which normally specializes in peripherals instead of desktop configurations. Raptor Gaming collaborated with rombus, the developer of MassiveMachines, and finally started shipping the Raptor-Gaming PC 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 desktop PCs.

Aimed as a good combination of performance and accessibility, especially in what concerns their prices, the three desktops are priced at 699, 799, and 999 Euro respectively, each one stronger than the other through the addition or replacement of certain components which makes each system suitable for their intended target market segments. All three configurations come with Windows 7 home Premium pre-installed.

The systems which costs 699 Euro, the Raptor-Gaming 1,000, is powered by an AMD Athlon II X2 central processing unit, a CPU which runs at 2.9 GHz. The system uses an nForce 430a motherboard and its 1GB Radeon HD 4650 graphics controller can deliver optimum graphical performance thanks to the 4GB of RAM included in the configuration. The system has a storage capacity of 500GB and has a DVD writer.

The second system, the Raptor-Gaming PC 2,000 priced at 799 Euro, uses a stronger CPU, namely the 3.1 GHz Phenom II X2 550 chip. The system runs on 2GB of DDR2 memory, has a hard drive capable of storing up to 1Tb and may come with Radeon HD 4850 or GeForce 9800 GT graphics adapter. All the components are set on an AMD 770 motherboard, and the configuration also comes with a DVD writer.

Finally, the strongest and priciest system of the three, the 1000 Euro Raptor-Gaming 3,000 Desktop personal computer has a Phenom II X4965 CPU capable of 3.40 GHz, has 4GB memory and offers a choice between a GeForce GT 1GB or a Radeon HD 4890 video controller. The 3,000 also has 1TB storage capacity and a DVD-Writer, also running on the 770 motherboard. Although specs seem somewhat similar, the more powerful CPU allow the 3,000 to surpass the other two systems in every area.

The systems may be purchased online through Raptor Gaming's official site.
