Fan-made

There is no doubt that Summit Entertainment is not moving fast enough or clearly not as it should if it were up to “Twilight” fans in terms of releasing new material or offering extra details on the highly popular vampire franchise that has long reached the status of international hit. With this in mind, it’s no wonder that fan-made posters have already become part of the “Twilight” tradition, as this most recent one will also do, as The Examiner points out.

Fans – but not only – must know that this is not the first time that “New Moon” promotion befalls fans with some talent, who undertake the incredibly difficult task of coming up with a poster that can be equally revealing as it’s catchy without giving away too many details. The same, admittedly, also goes for the latest photo, featuring newcomer to the franchise Dakota Fanning this time, which has been designed with the clear purpose of offering fans an idea about how Fanning might look in the film as the killer, but cute Jane.

As it’s already been confirmed, the actress will play Jane, the leader of the Volturi group, a vampire who seems incredibly frail, even delicate to a point, but who possesses a strength and is capable of the kind of violence one could hardly imagine by just looking at her. It is believed Fanning was added to the cast not only because, despite her young age, she was able to play a wide array of characters, but also because countless fans explicitly asked for her on Twilight-dedicated forums. Summit, it seems, did not fail to hear their pleas.

Speaking of pleas, the latest fan-made poster of Jane aka Dakota Fanning is a clear indication that fans are becoming too anxious for new “New Moon” details. Granted, something big should happen this week, as Comic-Con opens and both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be attending, but, unless a new trailer is premiered, chances are fans will not be happy only with this, it is being said.

Also on the “New Moon” topic, over the weekend, a Taylor Lautner interview was published, in which the actor explained what it was like to play poor Jacob, the boy with whom Bella toyed in the most cruel manner, as well as how it felt to know he was working on such a big movie, as opposed to “Twilight,” where no one knew at the time how well it would fare.
