Need for Speed: Most Wanted, the new racing title from Electronic Arts and Criterion Games, takes advantage of the Kinect sensor on the Xbox 360 and, in order to show off this support, Microsoft has released a special video with the game in action.

NFS: Most Wanted re-imagines the classic game from 2005 and is set to deliver a pretty impressive racing experience filled with fast cars, aggressive cops, and the huge city of Fairhaven.

We already got to admire the game in action several times thanks to different trailers, but now Microsoft has released a special video that shows off Most Wanted's support for the Kinect sensor on the Xbox 360.

According to the company, the racing game will allow owners of its home console, through the use of the Kinect, to select menus with their voice as well as to customize their cars on the fly.

"Outrun the cops, outdrive friends, and outsmart your rivals with Kinect," Microsoft said about Most Wanted's support for the sensor in the video’s description.

"With Kinect you'll have voice activated easy drive menus and never have to take your hands off the wheel. Customize your car, select races and seamlessly switch to another car without ever leaving the action. Stay one step ahead of your rivals by changing your mods on the fly. Modify your car to adapt to any situation with intuitive voice commands. Need for Speed Most Wanted is better with Kinect."

In the video below, which depicts the Kinect support in Need for Speed: Most Wanted, the game's Producer, Chris Roberts, walks fans through the different mechanics that can be explored just by using his voice.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is out on October 30, in North America, and November 2, in Europe, for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
