Turn your iPhone into a harmoniccordion

The folks at Gclue just let us in on their fresh iPhone app, Accomedion, which is a new musical instrument application that combines a keyboard harmonica and an accordion. Apple has approved Accomedion in the iTunes App Store. You can grab it right now! It costs just three dollars.

A video demonstration of the app in action (available below) shows harmonica-typical sounds being generated by hitting the chord buttons similar to the ones found on accordions. According to Gclue, the wide range of tunes will be played as accompaniment. Main functions of Accomedion include:

- capable to shift between major chord and minor chord - capable to record and replay up to three tunes - five demonstration tunes are stored - capable to play in accordance with the tutorial guide.

Plus, you can play it like a real keyboard harmonica by blowing in the microphone, but this is a feature supported only on the iPhone – the iPod touch doesn't have a mic.

The Accomedion application is compatible with all iPhone and iPod touch models. It requires iPhone 2.1 Software Update. The currently available version is 2.2.1. Accomedion supports two languages (English, Japanese) and weighs in at 4.3 MB. Added to the iTunes App Store just today, the app is available for immediate download following the link provided below.
