Starting with February 24th, Verizon Wireless customers will be able to purchase on the carrier's airwaves the first tablet PC to run under Google's Android 3.0 Honeycomb platform, the Motorola XOOM, and a new promotional video for the device is available.

The XOOM was touted as the most advanced tablet PC to arrive on shelves this month, courtesy of its dual-core application processor, and the latest flavor of Android loaded on it.

With a large 10.1-inch touchscreen display and the said Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core application processor, the tablet would indeed be able to offer an impressive experience to all users, that's for sure.

The video embedded below is set to prove that the device is indeed capable of “encapsulating” users. “Grab it, and it grabs you,” Verizon notes in the video description (via IntoMobile).

The video is only 16 seconds long, but it says all that was needed to be said.

We should also note that the video ad reminds us of those impressive Motorola DROID promotional materials that Verizon aired over a year ago.

Motorola XOOM was made available for pre-order a while ago, and should hit the shelves come February 24th, both via Verizon and through partner retailers in the United States.

Packing support for the carrier's 3G network, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity options, the Motorola XOOM should be upgraded with 4G capabilities in the not too distant future.

The tablet PC should see other enhancements as well, including a taste of Adobe's Flash Player, which won't be available on it at launch.

All in all, the Motorola XOOM is indeed an appealing device, and it should attract a lot of users on its side when made available for purchase.

Last week during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Motorola also confirmed plans to have the device available on the European market.

The company will push both the 3G/WiFi and the WiFi-only flavors of the device to shelves, but said nothing about the 4G-enabled flavor.
