Microsoft is working on new Lumia phones wearing its brand

Microsoft has recently replaced the Nokia brand with its very own Microsoft Lumia, so it's now working to bring new devices to the market in order to continue its efforts in the smartphone business.

The very first device wearing its brand will debut tomorrow, but it appears that the company is working on several new handsets that could see daylight very soon.

Photos coming from China indicate that Microsoft is working to bring to the market not one, not two, but three new devices with its logo on the back and the front, which could mean that the company is struggling not only to replace the whole Nokia series, but also to introduce more powerful hardware.

The Lumia 535 is expected to see daylight tomorrow, but a new photo published on Weibo and spotted by WinblogItalia shows that, in addition to this phone, two other handsets are being developed.

Lumia 725 and Lumia 1330 in the works

Microsoft hasn't talked too much about its new devices, and it's a well-known thing that the company doesn't wish to comment on its developing projects, but there's no doubt that new Microsoft-branded phones are on their way.

This photo shows that the Lumia 535 is indeed prepared for launch, but alongside it, there are also two other handsets with slightly different dimensions. Lumia 725, which is right next to the Lumia 535 in the photo, and the Lumia 1330, a bigger device that seems very similar to the Lumia 1520, could also be introduced in the coming months.

At this point, details are scarce, but the Lumia 1320 could soon get a successor in the form of Lumia 1330, which would obviously run Windows Phone 8.1 and come with improved hardware. The 1320 came with a 6-inch screen, so its successor might have a display that's similar in size.

They could launch before Christmas

Even though specifications of the new devices are missing right now and Microsoft remains tight-lipped on these subjects, it's believed that these new handsets wearing Microsoft's branding could launch before Christmas, obviously in an attempt to make the most of the holiday season.

As far as pricing is concerned, it would obviously vary depending on the device itself. The Lumia 535, for example, is expected to be really affordable in an attempt to compete with cheap Android devices.

People close to the matter have said that a $100 (75 euro) price tag is very likely for the new 535 without a contract, but more information is expected to be unveiled tomorrow during the official unveiling.
