Kingmax figured now would be as good a time as any to introduce its newest collection of flash drive units, so it issued a press release in which it details the PD-30 and PD-33 lines.

Since it already has a bunch of different flash drives on sale, Kingmax figured it would make its newest lines varied both in terms of design and capacity.

As such, the PD-30 came to be colored in such combinations of hues as White/ Lightning Green, White/ Silver and White/ Sparkly Orange .

Likewise, the PD-33 comes in multiple color options, namely Black/ Eagle Gray and Black/ Sparkly Orange.

“The product design concept came from the sports car’s streamlined design and stunning automotive color of the body,” states the official announcement that the storage solutions developer made.

Combined with the different storage spaces, this yields quite a number of distinct models.

The PD-30 boasts 4 GB and 8 GB capacities, while the PD-33 is available in 2 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB as well.

All of them measure 59.4 (L) x 19.1 (W) x 11.4 (H) mm and connect to any host PC via the USB (universal serial bus) 2.0 interface.

What's more, Kingmax utilized a capless design with a retractable USB connector, for ease of use and a decent level of reliability.

Other specifications include applied automotive refinish coatings, RoHS compliance and full compatibility with the Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System.

The company's press release states that the “flash drive products all passed CE (EU) and FCC (US) certifications,” in addition to RoHS.

The PD-33 even supports Windows Ready Boost and, like the PD-30, is 100% quality tested .

The prices of the new flash drives have not been mentioned but their maker did say that all of them are backed by a five-year warranty.
