Governor goes off script, says he has no interest in the elections

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was on air on Fox News to talk about the disaster left behind by Hurricane Sandy, when things suddenly turned too political for his taste. Check out the video above.

Christie praises President Barack Obama for his initiatives as regards the areas most affected by the Superstorm, as well as for the quickness with which he offered his help, to the best of his abilities.

When the Fox News interviewers try to bring Mitt Romney in the discussion as well, thus turning an interview about Sandy into an interview about the elections, Christie snapped.

“I have no idea, nor am I the least bit concerned or interested. I have got a job to do here in New Jersey that is much bigger than presidential politics. And I couldn’t care less about any of that stuff,” he said.

“I have a job to do. If you think right now I give a damn about presidential politics, then you don't know me,” he added.

He will probably never be invited on Fox News ever again.
