A new trailer for the JOBS biopic is making the rounds today, just shy of one week before the movie finally hits cinemas worldwide.

Dubbed “American Legend,” the trailer shows quite a few parts from the movie that haven’t been seen before (by those who didn’t catch an early glimpse at the film itself).

In the meantime, protagonist Ashton Kutcher is answering more questions about the role up on Quora, using words of praise to describe his admiration towards the man who co-founded Apple Computer alongside Steve Wozniak, and inspired a generation.

Kutcher has such deep admiration for Steve Jobs that he regards the man as “the Leonardo da Vinci of our time,” something he said in a televised interview with Jay Leno (on the Tonight Show).

On Quora, he now reveals he spent three months preparing for the role, consuming everything that Jobs consumed, including the same books and the same food.

Kutcher studied the man’s every gesture and noticed he had “an almost imperceptible lisp,” as well as the fact that “he used his hands to talk and how he counted with his fingers (pinky finger first).”

The conclusion to his post by far speaks the most about the actor’s approval of Jobs.

“But in the end one of the greatest tells of the man were his creations. They were elegant, intelligent, thoughtful, precise, artistic, bold, visionary, complicated, efficient, fun, entertaining, powerful, imperfect, and beautiful on the inside and out… Just like Steve.”

Open Road’s JOBS has received mixed reviews, but we need to remember that the expectations for this movie have been pretty high from the get-go.

If you’re a fan of Apple/Steve Jobs, don’t let anyone spoil it for you, and consider watching the full thing with an open mind come August 16.
