"Not only do these two new portable hard drives provide more raw storage capacity than many people have in their desktop PCs, they also use the latest technology to help ensure that the data on the drives stay safe."
As the back up of important data on portable storage devices is a popular way of securing information, the Iomega Portable Hard Drive line of products comes with specialized bundled software suites that make backing up and restoring systems easy. The application EMC Retrospect Express that is bundled, comes with integrated support for both Windows and Mac users. The Iomega hard disk drives are compatible with all major operating systems on the market today thanks to its plug and play design and USB version 2.0 compliance, while supporting backwards compatibility with the older USB 1.0 and 1.1 standards too.
