They are called NuForce NE-650M and have 11mm drivers

Audio products, like every other type of consumer gadget, are launched all the time, sometimes by companies that aren't all that well known around the world. This is one of those times.

The company in question is NuForce, and its latest product is a set of earphones bearing the name of NuForce NE-650M.

They are what they sound like: in-ear models, not the type that have large enough pads that go around the ears.

Instead, they stick inside the ear channels, making them good for jogging and other activities that need as little encumbrance as possible.

NuForce made sure to provide all the features that earned the NE-600 series “critical acclaim,” and that extends beyond the high-efficiency design.

Each earpiece has an 11mm driver and an aerodynamic acoustic porting system, plus “a deeply layered soundstage and superb acoustic isolation.”

Obviously, outside noise won't be blocked as well as it would be if there were circumaural ear cups to keep vibrations away.

Still, the extra-large drivers will, at least, produce a loud and clear enough sound that music and voice calls will be audible regardless of outside interference.

NuForce even claims the product has “excellent bass impact” and a self-untangling flat OFC wire, plus a hands-free microphone with button for call answering. Obviously, volume and music playback control are part of the design as well.

Other technical specs include an impedance of 16 Ohms, a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 KHz, a weight of 12.5 grams (0.44 ounces), a 3.5 mm input for smartphones, tablets and whatever else (4-pin iPhone compatible-plug), and a cable length of 43.3 inches (1.1 meters).

Sales of the NuForce NE-650M should have already begun, for the price of $44.95 / €34.48 – 44.95. The product package will include five separate sets of ear tips.
