Apple launches new commercials for its newest iPod models

With the release of two new iPod models, Apple has also started airing two new commercials. Neither of the ads refers to the new features directly, nor are they stressed out in any way, particularly where the iPod touch commercial is concerned. Still, both of them are worth 30 seconds of your time to watch them.

If this isn't the first iPod-related news title you've clicked on today, most likely, you are already acquainted with Apple's two new iPod models, the 4G nano, and the new, metal-designed iPod touch or, as Apple likes to call it, “The Funnest iPod Ever.” Clearly, given all the new features it brings, this dubbing, although it might seem a bit confusing at first, is more than well deserved.

However, for those who are still having trouble grasping the concept behind the new release, let’s just say that Apple is taking the iPod touch a step further in the gaming market. After all, the new iPod touch ad makes no mention of any social networking apps, Internet browsing, movie watching or anything like that. Not even music is emphasized in this commercial, and we're talking “iPod” here! The entire ad is just about the games you can play on your new touch. Games are fun, so this is where the “funnest” term is derived from, even if certain grammatical rules had to be bent just a tad for its creation.

OK, so that's the new touch. But what abut the new iPod nano - “nano-chromatic”! What is that? A new feature? A better display? No, the “nano-chromatic” dubbing, obviously, refers to the multitude of color models the 4G iPod nano is now available in. Somewhat naturally, the new iPod nano commercial stresses this very aspect.

The new nano also boasts some impressive new features, but we're going to discuss those in a more iPod nano-focused piece. For now, enjoy the two just-released commercials, and share your impressions with us below.
