CES 2014 is on our door step and the official event website has already posted the schedule for the press day to be held on January 6, where companies like ASUS, Samsung and Huawei are expected to pull the veil off some new tablets.

Speaking of the latter, a Huawei tablet going by the code-name “S10-232UA” has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG (via TabletGuide) website.

The new product will probably turn out to be the next-generation MediaPad and will sport a 10-inch screen and draw power from a Huawei processor, though we don’t still know how many GB of RAM will be packed under the hood.

Based on the description on the website, the new MediaPad 10 will also have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G and will run on the Android operating system. The slate will come boasting an aluminum-alloy hosing and a thin frame of just 8.8mm / 0.3 inches. That’s pretty much what I can tell you about the tablet at this point, but more details will come in soon enough.

There’s no information about an exact launch date, but since Huawei is expected to unveil some devices during the press event at CES 2014, it might as well be the new MediaPad 10.
